Mummy to 4, Granny to 12, Great-Granny to 1. My best friend, my Granny was always there for me whenever I needed her. When I was born she got a police escort all the way from Derby to Manchester just so she could see me. Unfortunately she was diagnosed with throat cancer the year before she died and the day she went into remission she had a heart attack and passed away. She loved singing and was always in a very good mood, although she was very direct sometimes! She didn't mind everyone calling her "Baldy" after she had chemo and didn't wear her wig. She had a real zest for life and loved travelling and going on holiday. I miss her dearly every day.
